Skills, passion, and a never-ending strive to improve
will take you far. But to envolve, you need inspiration
- and that´s why we this season went to Villa Buonvisi,
just outside Lucca.
Few places inspire us more than this part of Italy.
Tuscany is a place, which is built around passion and
genuine craftsmanship. Based in tradition, yet often
also with a modern twist to fit in the 21th century
- and always with extraordinary attention to details.
Of course, we get a lot of our inspiration from
other artisans, and Tuscany is full of craftsmen doing
everything from ceramics and glass blowing to leather
production and lace embroidery. But, for us, it´s
equally inspiring to hear the Italian wine producers
talk about their passion for Sangiovese grapes or to
see an aged chef handle a Bistecca Fiorentina with
absolute love and respect.
After all, we´re all doing the same thing. We´re using
our genuine passion in our skills in craftsmanship to
show the Gentle Man that life is full of wonderful
things - and most of them are still to be found.
