Berkeley Frescobol Beach Bats
Frescobol first began in Brazil, on the beaches of Copacabana just after the Second World War.
It is a game that truly captures the values of the Gentle Man. The bats are handcrafted by local
artisans, known as Marceneiros, from recycled bass wood and black walnut. The unique Berkeley
Frescobol Beach Bats are developed together with Brazilian Frescobol Carioca.
